Night and day. Jekyll and Hyde. Meat and veg. There’s two sides to everything and the same can be said of Beastro – the latest start up to join Manchester’s booming food scene.


After winning a space in Spinningfields’ prestigious Leftbank development following an intense competition, Beastro came to us with a unique and exciting challenge – to create a brand and restaurant space that would be contemporary, adaptable and warm. Remaining stylish and sophisticated, without losing sight of its street food origins.


We developed a brand identity and restaurant space centred around Beastro’s currency – meat. Creating a versatile logo and multi-functional, butchery-inspired interiors that can adapt to the day and night time experience. We even brought the whole thing to life in VR throughout the design process.


The restaurant launched earlier this year, being praised as a real success story by food critics and customers alike. Popular with the hungry lunchtime crowds and casual evening diners, we’re proud to have helped Beastro continue its three-generation story in contemporary surroundings.
