Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Department: Client Services
Location: Manchester (hybrid working)
Reporting To: Managing Director
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Overview:
We’re a creative and strategic marketing agency based in Manchester, partnering with start-ups and scale-ups to help them go further, faster. Our work is all about smart brand transformation, harnessing creativity, strategy and technology to give clients a competitive edge and shorten the distance between goals and growth.
As our Senior Account Manager, you’ll spearhead high-impact projects across our three core capabilities:
• Brand Strategy & Creation
• Digital Product Design & Development
• Integrated Advertising & Marketing Campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who’s obsessed with delivering bold ideas, measurable results and tangible impact at pace. If that’s you, let’s talk.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management
Be the trusted, day-to-day contact: Get to know your clients inside-out – their ambitions, challenges, and quirks – so you can anticipate needs and deliver personal, high-value support.
Nurture authentic connections: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients through regular, honest communication. Celebrate wins, share insights proactively, and let them know you’ve always got their back.
Drive forward momentum: Translate client objectives into proactive solutions, grounding ideas in robust strategy and technology to keep projects moving and evolving.
Facilitate transparent updates: Conduct regular check-ins, presentations, and touchpoints, ensuring clients feel guided, informed, and excited about the journey ahead.
2. Strategic Account Development
• Identify opportunities for deeper brand transformation, blending Brand Strategy, Digital Product Strategy, and Integrated Advertising & Marketing Strategy.
• Build proposals and pitches that highlight how our approach can spark significant growth, from a killer brand identity to a game-changing digital platform.
• Stay on top of trends and disruptors, pinpointing ways to help clients innovate and scale.
3. Project & Financial Management
• Oversee integrated campaigns from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Creative, Digital & Production) to align deliverables, deadlines, and budgets.
• Own the financial side of your accounts – forecast revenue, manage budgets, and track profitability to ensure results meet (and exceed) expectations.
• Monitor scope changes and project timelines, taking swift action to keep work on track and on budget.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on everything from writing a perfect brief to building lasting client relationships.
• Coordinate with internal specialists to deliver cohesive, measurable results that blend creativity, strategy, and technology.
• Problem-solve any snags or roadblocks, keeping up the pace so we can push forward and deliver meaningful outcomes.
5. Quality Assurance & Best Practice
• Champion best practices for brand transformation, ensuring every deliverable meets our standards for creativity, measurability, and scalability.
• Encourage data-driven decision-making, frequently measuring campaign performance and course-correcting where needed.
• Gather regular feedback from clients and stakeholders, using insights to refine processes and elevate our output.
Required Tools & Tech:
Below is an integrated list of the key tools and technologies that will help you succeed in our fast-paced, collaborative environment. While we don’t expect you to be an expert in every single platform, a strong working knowledge of these will be a major advantage:
1. Microsoft Office Suite
Excel: Budget and revenue tracking, pivot tables, data analysis and reporting.
Word: Producing client-ready documentation with consistent formatting and brand alignment.
2. Figma
Presentations: We use Figma for crafting visually engaging, on-brand slides that align with our creative ethos.
Design & Prototyping: Reviewing concepts, providing feedback, and ensuring seamless integration with brand strategy and UX best practices.
3. Project Management & Collaboration

Email & Calendar Management: Coordinating internal and external communications, maintaining schedules, and staying on top of deadlines.
Instant Messaging/Chat Apps (e.g. Microsoft Teams or Slack): Facilitating real-time team collaboration, quick problem-solving, and status updates.
4. AI Tools
Generative AI / Copywriting Platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper): Using AI-driven content generation for brainstorming, early concept ideation, and research.
AI-Enhanced Analytics Platforms: Leveraging predictive modeling or automated insights to drive data-informed decisions and forecast campaign outcomes.
5. Additional Digital & Marketing Tools

Proficiency or familiarity in these areas will empower you to oversee projects effectively, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver value to clients quickly and creatively. If you’re excited by the idea of expanding your skillset in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in agency-side account management, with a proven track record of brand transformation across Brand Strategy & Creation, Digital Product Design & Development, and Integrated Advertising & Marketing Campaigns.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and achieving profitability targets.
Strategic Mindset: Naturally curious and able to spot opportunities for accelerated growth – no matter the client’s starting point.
Project Leadership: Adept at juggling multiple projects (and teams), while keeping a close eye on deadlines, deliverables, and ROI.
Communication Skills: Clear, confident, and persuasive. You can manage clients, lead presentations, and motivate teams with equal flair.
