Campaigns of the Month

It’s time for another Campaigns of the Month round-up, and boy, did August deliver. From playful brand mash-ups to powerful visual statements, this month gave us big ideas, bold moves and plenty of talking points. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

KFC x Greggs - “Gravy Meets Pastry”.

KFC x Greggs? Name a more chaotic British duo. “Gravy Meets Pastry” saw the Colonel’s iconic gravy collide with Greggs’ beloved baked goods in a gloriously indulgent mash-up. Created by Mother, the campaign served up free samples, bucket hats and pure hype via a three-day roadshow. It’s bold, brilliantly daft, and had the internet (and our tastebuds) buzzing.

Apple - “Clean Up Photos (Cat)”.

Apple’s “Clean Up” spot introduced us to a new star: Garrett the cat. When he’s magically erased from a family photo using Apple Intelligence, chaos – and cuteness – ensues. It’s sleek, smart and quietly hilarious, showing off powerful tech through everyday mishaps. Slick product demo meets storytelling charm. Justice for Garrett, but full marks to Apple for another purrfect ad (sorry).

Sainsbury’s - “Your Nectar Prices”.

As a proud Sainsbury’s shopper, this one struck a chord. The “Your Nectar Prices” campaign introduces us to Wayne, your everyday hero turned supermarket star, complete with Waynesbury’s signage and custom bags. Voiced by Stephen Fry and brought to life by New Commercial Arts, it’s playful, personal and proof that loyalty perks work best when they come with a wink.

British Airways - “No One Flies Like Her”.

British Airways’ “No One Flies Like Her” campaign is a soaring tribute to the Red Roses, celebrating power, pride and women’s sport with serious style. Created in-house with Uncommon, the black-and-white campaign oozes elegance and edge – rolling out across OOH and social just in time for the Women’s Rugby World Cup. Striking, spirited and unmistakably British.

Bodyform - “It’s Never Just a Drop”.

Bodyform’s bold “It’s Never Just a Drop” campaign really didn’t hold back – plonking a giant, glistening blood drop in the middle of an empty hall to make one thing clear: periods aren’t dainty. They’re raw, unflinching and impossible to ignore. A brilliant bit of creative activism that turns silent suffering into a loud, visual mic drop for menstrual health.

August’s creative campaigns brought the weird, the wonderful and the wildly effective. We saw big brands get playful (hello, KFC x Greggs), personal (cheers, Sainsbury’s) and powerful (take a bow, Bodyform and British Airways). Whether it was bold outdoor stunts or bite-sized storytelling magic, these were the ideas that stopped us scrolling and got us talking.
